1. State Zoo – cun Botanical Garden
Oppening hours between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in summer
and 8 a.m to 4.30 a.m. in winter. Friday closed.

Sualkuchi
It is a silk village of Assam popularly
known as Manchester of the East which 32 km away from Guwahati. It is the
production centre of silk garments in Assam. Garments weaved are of the Golden
Muga silk, the white Pat silk and warm Eri silk.
It is located 32 km away from Guwahati. It is
a place of union of three religions – Hinduism, Muslim & Buddhism.
Hayagriva Madhab Temple- there is belief that the temple contains relic of Lord
Buddha and a section of Buddhist hold that Lord Buddha attained Nirvana here. A
large number of Bhutanese visit the temple every year during winter season. The place of pilgrimage for muslim is poa
Mecca.
