VALUE OF TIME

butterflies fly with an unprecedented speed, flapping their small wings. have you ever noticed them? how carefree are they. like us, they do not regret for the past that has already happened or wishes for infinite things, neither they have the fear of death, instead they just  fly here and there, catches their prey and rests. their lifestyle is so easy, isn't it? well, let me come to the point, if we humans would have been able to surpass the speed of time and if we had an endless or infinite lifespan just like time, then probably we would not had to reborn on this earth again and again to complete the heap of pending works we had left before. we would have been immortal. but that's not possible. A man's life span is already very short but still, he wishes for infinite things and he tries to achieve these wishes in his short lifespan. that is why time is a priceless treasure for us. 

we cannot buy time, no matter how much we agree to pay. it does not wants any money from anyone. the speed of time can be compared to the speed of the flow of a river, its endless. just like how the river is flowing in the a definite direction, the time too is flowing in a definite direction from millions of years. they day which has passed yesterday cannot be returned by anyone again. even the present day in which we are living in cannot be returned tomorrow. that is why price of time is infinite.

from the above paragraphs, one would obviously think, how can we buy time then? well there is a solution for this though. And that solution is work. work determines the value of time. Actions can hold time. By completing the work in the right time, we can determine the value of time. if a farmer grows some seeds in a season which is suitable for it, his seeds will grow into healthy crops and thus he will be benefited. hence, we can say that, if we complete our work at the right time, we may be benefited in the future.

Sattriya Nritya or Sattriya Dance

Sattriya Dance or Sattriya Nritya is a traditional dance of Assam created in 15 th century by Vaishnav saint Srimanta Sankardeva. It is one of the eight major Classical dance of India. Now it has been recognized as a national dance OF India. Earlier these dances were performed in the sattras ( Assam’s monasteries) . This traditional dance was performed as a part of Ankiya Naat- a one act play developed by Sankardeva. As this dance grews and developed in the Sattras it was called Sattriya Nritya. These Sattriya Nrityas are performed basically on Mythological stories . With the help of these dances the mythological stories were presented so that people could easily understand it in an immediate and enjoyable manner. Traditionally it was performed by Bhokots or male monks as a part of their daily rituals in monasteries but now it is performed by both male and female. The performing area also widens from monasteries to stages.
